Graduates of ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú’s Feinstein School of Education and Human Development are invited to reconnect with fellow educators and help launch a new network created especially for ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú education alumni.

8 pm – Anchor Madness, Recreation Center

Friday, 10/16

11 am – Golden Anchors Brunch, Alger Hall 110

This Brunch welcomes all alumni who graduated in or before 1977. Join us and reconnect with classmates, share memories, and hear an inspiring keynote from President Jack R. Warner. Let’s honor and celebrate our newest Golden Anchors, the Class of 1977!

5 pm – Volleyball Game, Murray Center

This match will be the Men vs. Women.

6:30 pm – Disney's Rio Gymnastics Show, Murray Center

A high-energy, family-friendly performance by our gymnastics team inspired by the hit animated film Rio.

7 pm – Glow All Out!, Student Union Ballroom (ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Students Only)

Kick off the fun and Glow All Out! Come to the Student Union for a glow dance party, snacks, and fun! 

7:30 pm – Ephrat Asherie Dance, Sapinsley Hall

New York City based Ephrat Asherie Dance (EAD) is made up of a dynamic group of multi-faceted street and club dance artists. A dance company dedicated to honoring the ethos of the underground club community, EAD is rooted in Black and Latine vernacular dance, including breaking, hip hop, house, waacking and the New York style hustle.

Explore campus and discover what’s new at ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú.

12–3 pm – Family Festival, Intramural Field

There’s something for everyone at the Family Festival! Enjoy live music, a petting zoo, interactive activities, caricature artists, pumpkin painting and more. Food trucks and vendors will include: 

• W’s Wood Fired Pizza

• Dee’s Deli

• GreenGoods

• Party People

Bring the family, come hungry and enjoy one of Homecoming’s favorite traditions!

Help Tuft a ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Rug! (Part of Family Festival)

Join , owned by Savaree Hazard-Chaney ’21, and help create a one-of-a-kind ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú rug alongside alumni, students, families, and friends. The finished rug could be yours! Stop by, add to the design, and share your ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú story for a chance to take home this community-created piece. Winner will be selected after the event.

12:30 pm – Golf Cart Parade (Part of Family Festival)

Cheer on one of Homecoming's most colorful traditions as creatively decorated golf carts parade from the quad to the alumni field. Designed and built by current ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú students, these spirited creations showcase Anchor pride, imagination, and friendly competition.

12–3 pm – Beer Garden (21+), Intramural Field

Take a break and unwind in the Beer Garden, an adults-only (21+) space within the Family Festival. Grab a refreshing beverage, connect with fellow alumni and friends, and enjoy the Homecoming atmosphere while the festivities continue around you.

12:30–2:30 pm – Greenhouse & Beehive Tour, Next to Clarke Science Building

Discover one of ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú’s hidden gems with a guided tour of the campus beehives and greenhouse. Registration is required, and guests must select one of the two available tour sessions when signing up.

12:00–3 pm – Pottery Painting Workshop

Get creative at Homecoming! Choose your favorite pottery piece, pick up a brush, and make it your own during this fun, hands-on workshop. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, come create a one-of-a-kind keepsake to remember your Homecoming weekend.

1 pm – Women’s Soccer, Alumni Field

5–8 pm – A Trip Around Rhode Island Dinner, Donovan Dining Center

Take your taste buds on a journey across the Ocean State! Join us for a culinary experience celebrating the flavors that make Rhode Island unique. Enjoy a delicious tour of the state, one plate at a time. Whether you're a lifelong Rhode Islander or discovering these traditions for the first time, this is a flavorful celebration you won't want to miss.

7:30 pm – ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Night at RIFC

Enjoy a special Homecoming soccer match with Rhode Island Football Club vs Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. Receive an exclusive ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú x RIFC scarf as part of the experience. Plus, stay until the end of the match for a group photo on the field!
