This Medical Assistant Certificate Program may be perfect for you, as long as you're 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, are not currently enrolled in a degree program at ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú or another college, are considered unemployed/underemployed/dislocated worker, and you can provide a RI BCI Background Check. The program is free to those who are eligible.

The Medical Assistant Certificate of Continuing Study (CCS) prepares students for a career as a medical assistant, with competency and confidence in:
Eligible graduates are able to sit for the National Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.
There will be 14 weeks of classwork followed by a minimum 120 hour internship over 5-6 weeks.
We provide individual counseling with a case manager and professional development that covers resume and cover letter writing, job searching, and practice interviews. We make sure you're ready to succeed!
